Making a New Link on a Page
The steps are pretty straightforward....
First, Edit your Page
You can edit your page from the file manager or by clicking on the "edit page" on your footer if it's still there, or also by adding ?edit=1 to the end of any URL for any page.
Second, type and select the text you want to be a new link.
Third, click on the link button.
You'll see a dialog box that looks like this:
You can then click the Browse Server button, and pick your web page from your site.
When you are browsing your server, you can also upload a file, such as an HTML file. HTML files you upload in LigaType should work fine, and will automatically be wrapped in your skin.
If you want to link to an external site just type the URL in the URL field and make sure the protocol is set to http://
If you want to link to a page on your site, just type the URL into the field also. If the page doesn't exist yet, that's okay! You can create the page after you save, and click on your new link.
Now if you want the image to open in a new window or in some special way, you can tinker with the other tabs Target and Advanced. Below you can see the Target tab.
You can see the options you have for making your link show up in a new window.
The popup option is very useful for making the link show up in a new window that's smaller than your existing browser window.
The <frame> option is only useful if your website uses frames, which is not normally the case.
Editing an Existing Link
All you have to do to edit an existing link is right-click on it to bring up the link info as above.
