Adding a New Page

There are several ways you can add a new page to your website.  Use the way that's easiest for you at any given time.

If you're just looking at your website and not editing anything...

Just type the new page name in your browser's address bar.   Make sure your page has ".html" on the end of it.  You'll get an error message Page Not Found with the LigaType Logo.  There you'll see a link where you can just create your new page.  LigaType will automatically make any folders you need to get to your new page, too.

If you are editing a page and want to make a link to a new page that doesn't exist yet....

That's easy... just select the text you want to be a link to your new page, and then click on the image in the editor toolbar.  There you can enter in your new page URL.  Be sure and put a leading / in the front of it so that it has the protocol <other> which means it links to a file on your site.  When you save your page and click on your link, you'll get the same message as above and can just go from there to edit your new page.

If you are using the File Manager...

First you can browse to the folder you want to make your new page in.  You do that by clicking on the folder name you want to visit.

For example you can click on the 'help' folder there to go down inside of that folder.

Then once you're in the folder you want to make your file in, just type the name of your new page in the "Create File / Folder" box.  Be sure and put an .html extension on your new file.
